Single Appointment Cancellation:
** 24 hour (minimum) notice is required for cancelling a single appointment. If 24 hour notice is not given a student’s missed or cancelled appointment will not result in makeups, refunds or credits.
Students who need to change or cancel a single lesson should consult their instructor well in advance. It is the instructor’s discretion to approve makeups for any missed lessons. Occasional makeup requests are sometimes granted by the teacher, however frequent requests are not.
* Please note that teachers are paid hourly, not by the number of lessons given, therefore any makeups approved by the teachers are provided on their own time.
Instructor Absence and Substitutes:
We work to ensure the student is with the same teacher each week during the semester, however if the regularly scheduled teacher is unavailable, a qualified sub chosen by the instructor will be provided.
Holidays recognized by Brazos Arts that automatically qualify for a makeup or reschedule are New Years Day, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Verbal communication to your teacher does not constitute a formal notice. Written (email) notice to the business office must be given 2 weeks in advance of your last planned attendance. Unused tuition fees are not refundable.
